Paramus, New Jersey

Paramus is central to Bergen County, and one of the larger towns with a population of 27,000. Real estate varies from low to high-end and one of the great appeals of Paramus is its accessibility to the Garden State Parkway, and route 4 and 17. Paramus has five public elementary schools and two public middle schools serving children from kindergarten through graduation at Paramus High School.

Paramus is also home to the scenic Van Saun Park which houses Bergen County's own zoo, and New Jersey's Children's Museum, but Paramus is probably best known nationally for its shopping malls - including the Garden State Plaza, which is one of the biggest malls in the United States. Fine dining is another Paramus trademark, with restaurants on a par with any in New York City across the town.

With a beautiful and challenging golf course and municipal pool on your doorstep, and a rich history of tradition, there's something for everyone. Paramus is a great place to buy a home.
