Recently Anne Marangi of Terrie O'Connor Realtors Upper Saddle River Group accepted the “Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Medal of Honor Award” in memory of her husband Nicholas Marangi. Nicholas Marangi, Anne's husband, was active in the local philanthropic community. His family and their business, Interstate Waste Services (IWS), have been longstanding supporters of Good Samaritan. Anne was so deeply touched to accept this award in honor of her husband.
Each year the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center runs their Annual Ball. At this Kentucky Derby Theme Event supporters raised $260,000. Funds raised were directed to the Bobbi Lewis Cancer Program at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Also at the Annual Ball honorees were acknowledged for their good works and higher standards. “I was so honored and proud to have been able to accept this wonderful award in memory of my husband,” said Anne. “I am so happy that my children were here to share this most memorable evening with me also.”
Anne also brings an incredible 33 years of real estate experience as a realtor, as well as many Circle of Excellence achievements that include the Gold level for 2013, Bronze level for 2005, 2010-2012, and Silver for 2006-2009.
She earned a BA in Psychology and Elementary Education from Immaculata University and enjoyed a career as an elementary school teacher before entering the real estate industry. Anne has resided in Upper Saddle River for over 30 years and has recently moved back to Wyckoff where she grew up. She has four grown children.
As a lifelong resident of Bergen County, she is very familiar with the Bergen County area and brings this knowledge to her role as an agent. This affords her clients a true advantage in marketing their home to potential buyers, or selecting a neighborhood and home that fits their specific needs.
Anne plays an active role in her community. She is involved in the Church of the Presentation and is proud to have helped many wonderful friends and their children find the perfect home.
