Zachary Lisella, Sales Associate at Terrie O'Connor Realtors in Allendale is returning for his second year of chairing Allendale Festival Day & Car Show. Lisella also serves as the Allendale Chamber of Commerce Vice President. This year's Festival Day will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
The annual street fair brings thousands of people to town each year and attractions include food vendors, music, entertainment, games, shopping and a petting zoo. Special events include the pie baking contest, pet parade and scarecrow making contest. The event is a year-long planning process and involves the assistance of many Allendale Chamber businesses and volunteers, including Chamber President Adrienne Tenbekjian of Jumbleiah Gifts. “Last year's event turned out to be one of our best yet, so I wanted to return in hopes of topping our success,” said Lisella. This year's Festival Day & Car Show will once again incorporate the vendors Allendale Farmer's Market, which runs every Saturday behind the clock tower.
