These Bergen County high schools made U.S. News & World Report’s list of Best High Schools in New Jersey for 2017.

Bergen County Technical High School, Teterboro

Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro ranks #3 on U.S. World & News Reports’ 2017 list of Best High Schools in New Jersey. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a public magnet high school with a student/teacher ratio of roughly 10:1 and an enrollment of about 665 students. Academic programs include Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, and Fashion Design and Merchandising. 

Northern Highlands Regional High School, Allendale

Northern Highlands Regional High School, which ranks #23 on the 2017 list of Best High Schools in New Jersey, serves grades 9 through 12. The school’s enrollment of 1,373 includes students from Allendale, Upper Saddle River, Ho-Ho-Kus, and Saddle River. The school’s student/teacher ratio is 12:1. Northern Highlands Regional High School offers 37 Honors courses and 19 Advanced Placement courses.

Park Ridge High School, Park Ridge

Park Ridge High School ranks #27 on U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools in New Jersey for 2017. With a total enrollment of about 580 students across grades 7 through 12, the school has a student/teacher ratio of 10:1. Park Ridge High offers Advanced Placement classes.

Ridgewood High School, Ridgewood

Ridgewood High School, which ranks #25 overall in the state, serves grades 9 through 12. The school’s enrollment is about 1,700 students, and it has a student/teacher ratio of 13:1. Ridgewood High School has won a number of academic team tournaments, including the Tri-State History Bowl in 2010 and the Northern New Jersey History Bowl in 2013. 

Tenafly High School, Tenafly

Tenafly High School, which ranks #20 overall for 2017, serves grades 9 through 12. The school, which has an enrollment of about 1,150 students, has a student/teacher ratio of 11:1. Tenafly High School was the only school in New Jersey to win the National Blue Ribbon School Award in 2005. Tenafly High School also has an award-winning competitive debate team and marching band.
